We have just spent a delightful long weekend to mark my birthday. We were blessed with wonderful weather with the Autumn colours enhanced by the sunshine. The cottage is spacious and spotlessly clean, with every facility from kitchen equipment to a walk-in shower that is a great help for my limited mobility. The conservatory is in the sun all day.
The village pub and tearoom are welcoming with good reasonably priced food, and excellent Exmoor bitter on tap. The coast is an easy drive away, along beautiful moorland roads.
We shall be back, the sooner the better.
Lovely light well presented cottage. Lots of space for all. We were impressed with the downstairs bedrooms with en suite, especially the walk in shower, which greatly helped our less able father. There is no need to bring anything if you wish to cook as we did, as everything is provided and close to hand. The appliances are of quality and very efficient. We loved the open plan style as we could all still chat and spend time together whether cooking or relaxing in the sunny spacious conservatory.
Our dog enjoyed the large enclosed garden and we were content that she was safe and able to run round quite Happily. We made full use of the patio. The Views are stunning and there are interesting walks close to the cottage.
Overall the best cottage we have ever stayed in. Very happy to recommend
We had a very enjoyable stay at Coombe Cottage. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We had a very warm welcome from Chris on our arrival and also some delightful goodies! The Kingsize bed was really comfortable, as was the sofa!
The views from the garden and conservatory were beautiful, plus there was ample seating for the garden.
We ate out every evening in the local pub - The Royal Oak - which was outstanding with its menus and food and not too far to walk to. Would definitely return and recommend.

We found the cottage, Clean, Comfortable and very well equipped. The beds provided a good nights sleep and the walk in shower proved ideal for the oldest member of our party who with some mobility problems had no real issues with the cottage.
We made good use of the conservatory a perfect place to relax and enjoy the wildlife and very pleasant views.
The Bridge Tearooms in the village provided us with good meals and a very nice cream tea.
A thoroughly enjoyable week in a good location with walks from the door and many more places to visit we hope to return soon.
A very comfortable cottage in a wonderful setting with outstanding views. Every requirement for a self catering holiday is covered and there are plenty of fabulous walks nearby. The lovely village pub is only a short walk away which serves excellent food. A truly delightful stay.
