Living area

The cottage has a comfortable and spacious open plan living area. The seating area has a large corner sofa, flat screen TV with freesat, blu-ray/DVD player and Minxgo speaker for playing music from an ipod, smartphone or tablet. Wifi, selection of toys, board games, puzzles, playing cards, outdoor games etc.

There is a woodburning stove (first basket of logs provided free, further logs available to purchase if required), plus underfloor heating throughout the ground floor to keep it cosy in the winter months.

Garden Room/conservatory

Large south-facing garden room with bi-fold doors from the living room which can be folded back to create one large living space. Futher bi-fold doors lead to the patio and garden. 

Kitchen

Kettle, 4 slice toaster, microwave, induction hob with extractor, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher. Supply of basic items provided, including vegetable oil, salt and pepper, mixed herbs, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and washing liquid.

Dining area

Large dining table with seating for 6. 

Bedrooms

Bedroom one - downstairs, superking size bed, large built-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. 

Bedroom two - downstairs, king size bed, built-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower.

Bedroom three - upstairs, built-in storage, single bed, ensuite bathroom with bath.

Bedroom four - upstairs, built-in storage, single bed, ensuite bathroom with bath.

Outside

Enclosed garden of approx half an acre with plenty of space for playing and relaxing. Patio area, outdoor table and chairs seating 6, parasol.

BBQ, outdoor games. 

Other

Washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes airer. Washing liquid provided.

Bedlinen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach/paddling towels.

Travel cot and high chair available free of charge on request.

Dogs are welcome (max 2 per booking). Please note that dogs are not allowed upstairs, in any of the bedrooms or on the furniture. Please bring your own dog bed and towels. 

Please note:

There is patchy mobile signal in the area. A landline phone is provided, with free local calls included. Wifi calling can be used in the house if your phone has that capability.

A public footpath runs along the bottom of the garden. This is used infrequently and is fenced off and mostly screened by a beech hedge. It's great for walking straight from the door up to the Punchbowl and Winsford Hill!

The cottage is not on mains drainage and has a septic tank, so only certain cleaning products can be used. Hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid and cleaning products are all provided. Standard shower gel, shampoo etc are fine to use. 

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the house.
